In December 2017, my girlfriend and I found ourselves on an unexpected all-expenses-paid trip to frigid Maine. As the sun set around 2pm, we stumbled into a cozy, dimly lit restaurant and what welcomed us there was a wall covered in small magnetic words. We had never done anything like it before, but we started crafting hilarious, choppy lines. Suddenly, we were poets! Or at least, we tried to be. The magnets just had this way of making our thoughts funnier and more profound, turning a simple meal (when we did remember to order something) into a laughter-filled experience that made our short vacation memorable.

Wanting to recreate the experience back home, I bought a magnetic word kit but was disappointed by its limited selection.
